Thanks alot! Currently running the 09 and I'm about to sell the frame so would like to get my hand on one of those 2010 to see how the new shock perform before the end of the season...
Pretty solid build btw!
I've been on this frame since the beginning of May and it still hold up great. Those frames aren't as fragile as you could think. I crashed a few times (some minor, some bigger) and no big dent or puck anywhere. From what I've experienced / seen, somehow the toptube aera where the fork bumper...
So I could trim the bottom out bumper in order to get that few extra travel and then readjust the bottom out adjustement to my liking ?
I was wondering if cutting down the bumper could be done...
Usually, the machinist need a drawing that respect some standards. He will then creat the program in some way (MastercamX, ,manualy).
I don't know how good you are with Autocad (I guess you're using ACAD) but drawing a something in order to get it done by the machinist is not as easy as you...
I'm pretty messed up between Acrylic Enamels and Lacquers. I want to get a nice gloss finish while having the highest durability I can get out of a aerosol...Wich one should I use ?
I'm about to get a new color for my boxxer lowers and I was thinking about powder coating but I was wondering : If I'm not mistaken, powder coating is using heat to get the result but is there any chances the bushing inside the leg melt under "high" temperature? The surface aera in contact with...
I'm in need for a new fork (boxxer team) and I was wondering if I should get the 09 model or wait until the 2010 are available... It's winter here so I won't need my bike until may but I don't want to wait for a fork that will only be available in mid summer...Do you think it worth the wait ?
So if the effective rim diameter is 532, then I should add like you said 3-4mm wich in total mean about 537. That's the ERD listed by Dtwiss spoke calculator so I guesse it's correct!
Thanks alot!
That's what I did but I'm not 100% sure of the ERD I have. Dtswiss calculator set it at 537 mm and from Sicklines its 532. I just want to make sure I got the good ERD
Hi guys,
I did my own research for the lenght of the spokes for building 721 on pro2 (20mm front 150mm rear) and considering an ERD of 532 (from sicklines) I came up with the precise lenght of :
Front Wheel : (256.00 LE) (257.8 RI)
Rear Wheel : (256.4 LE)...
