We REQUIRE that everyone take at least one practice run. There will be someone stationed at the top signing off number plates. This being said, it would be favorable to show up some time before 12:30 to ensure that you get a run in.
The trail is open to ride but be aware that there is major construction going on including a new section which will be closed off. This section is just above the wallride and will be clearly marked as closed. The wallride has been rebuilt and is rideable.

I was up there last weekend and got word from one hunter that people were "brush hunting" which was later defined as "shooting at anything that moves in the brush" I later came upon a hunter sitting on the side of the trail ready to go. Wearing orange would be a really good idea.
Pull out BB, clean threads on BB/inside shell on frame. Wrap BB threads in teflon tape, 2 or 3 layers. Grease outside of tape layer, grease shell threads on frame. Reinsert BB slowly, to avoid cross threading.
Any metal to metal contact needs grease, or your headset will become one with your bike, given the correct amount of time and use. Greasing has nothing to do with ovalization, usually with bad cases or hucks to flat. I have greased every headset on every bike I own, and never have had a single...
