    6 Gap century

Good glasses. I like 'em. I miss my "le strings" from the 80s though.... ;)

    6 Gap century

Yeah, I try to get one after every big ride. Just for entertainment value. Funny, they all look the same. :)

    6 Gap century

Dammit, I was afraid you'd say that. I looked, I swear, but didn't see you. I thought you were up the road. :( In fact, there was this guy pedalling squares just going around the next bend..... ;)

    6 Gap century

Having blown off the Shenandoah Mtn 100, a ride I've been working towards all year, I needed some redemption -- something that would push whatever fitness I've been able to develop. This weekend was the 6 Gap century, a brutal day of climbing near Dahlonega, in the North Georgia mountains. The...

    CONTEST: Don't Use Any Gas!!!

Good idea sanjuro. I had zero miles on my trip odometer this morning. We'll see how it goes. I already canceled my trip to VA this weekend but there's a good ride coming up in N GA in a couple of weeks that I'd like to do. That'll pretty much put me out of the running.

    So the 1970's called....

If I start with a full tank I'd need one more plus part of a second for the round trip. I'm seriously considering canceling. If not for the worry about availability then just because the stuff is so damned expensive. I don't want to support that kind of pricing.

    So the 1970's called....

The real question is this: can I drive from SC to VA and back, and expect to find gas when I need it this weekend?

    Something new and different

It needs something. Its got about the blandest graphics I've seen in years. Looks like something from the 70s rather than the 90s.

    Commuters-->

Here ya go. If you're worried about shoulders and trails, you need to learn where and how to ride in traffic. Much cheaper than armor. http://www.bicycledriving.com/

    Something new and different

Yeah, it's gonna be fun. I also got some child stoker cranks that I haven't installed yet, and my 6yo is already complaining about that. I did take it out for a shakedown run with my sweetie on Sunday to get her position dialed in though. She had a great time, so I think its a keeper. I sure...

    Meet Murphy, our foster greyhound

Great looking dog. Count me in the "keep him" camp. Once saw one get loose from a meet and greet in a parking lot. Zoom! Fortunately there was a happy ending.
