Thanks for all the nice comments! I've been super happy with it so far. I already swapped the grips and brake arms though. I have a new front tire (Ody Aitken K-Lyte) and stem (Primo Aneyelator) on the way.
Here's the specs:

I personally have had great luck with the Atomlabs - I bailed the other week at the local trails and the bike did half a backflip into the face of the next jump, probably 25' away, landing right on the bars. They aren't bent.
I have had some Black Markets. They were last years, and I think...
That's what I'm hoping for. If you google "Fox creak" you don't actually get a whole lot of results. Also, most people were able to get it warrantied.
And yeah, the other thing I didn't even think about with the weight on the bmx hub is the fact that the axle is included in that weight. With...
Wow, those Hopes are really light. I think I'd rather run the NS Rotary or Simple though.
I do like the idea of rigid - less parts to work on and lighter weight. It just seems like you'd be getting right back to the feel of a 24" cruiser - which I hate. And after riding my bike for a year...
Meh, good thought, I just really don't want to go rigid. I like the suspension too much.
And yeah, I'm going to file the axles where they fit the drops.
Ha, I try to ride as light and smooth as possible. The only problem is a feel like there's a certain point where you can't really progress while you're trying to ride extra smooth.
I want a 9mm for a couple reasons. They're obviously lighter, but it also lets you run a lighter BMX hub. Also...
Have any of you guys had any luck running standard 9mm dropouts on a street bike? My new setup is going to run 24" wheels and BMX hubs. I'm going from a Marzocchi 4X w/ the 20mm axle. I'm not too worried about stiffness, but I don't want the fork breaking. I'm thinking about just running a...
Make sure you're spinning straight out. I have that problem right now, but I'm trying to learn to spin my opposite direction. Basically, I'm getting the full 180 while moving forward, but going 2 or three feet to the right at the same time. It knocks you off balance when you land.
Carve...
Thanks guys... I have it on the way, should be here Monday or Tuesday. I have a Truvativ guide and some Hussefelt cranks w/ a 34t sprocket I'm going to throw on it. I'll let ya's know how it goes.
Any opinions? I had a chance to pick one up brand new for $540. I know it's not the best race rig on the planet, but there's nothing huge at the local mountain. Plus, I did okay at the last DH race on a Cannondale Gemini rental bike, and they're spec'd almost the same.
