Picked some jalapenos today before these fuckers eat them all....
I kind of stopped caring about the plants in September, and then they hit their second wind.
Why not?

Morning, Monkeys.
Me and the Missus's anniversary today, so "WFH" in big air quotes. Possibly going out for breakfast or lunch if the Tiny One allows it.
Currently 101, 28% humidity here. Le gross. Tiny One has been keeping us up a night again. I need a nap after lunch.
Planning a gravel ride up in the not-quite-so-hot-and-gross mountains sometime in the next few weeks.
Mowed the lawns this morning before the outside temperature was over 100, which it is now. Picked up some pool chemicals then made a quick stop at my favorite bottle shop.
Spending the rest of the day indoors with my 4 friends.

My guess would have been civil, structural or possibly even geotechnical if he claims to have any specific expertise on this. Civil is probably a safe assumption if he works for a civil firm, and if that's the case, he probably knows a thing or two about subgrade compaction and prep for...
Coffee, WFH this morning. Currently have a number of lines in the ol' job pond. Still not 100% sure I want to actually start a position with a new company, but the hunt fills me with optimism.
Easy mixed media ride this morning, Raiders of the Lost Ark followed by pool beers this afternoon. Almost time for chicken gyros.
Giving just about zero fucks about my job right now, and that’s starting to concern me. Hard to pay the bills without one.
Coffee now, ride in 90 minutes. This will be my first time out on a bike in a few months, and only the 3rd (maybe 4th?) ride since my youngest was born. Need to work on that.
