    What have you broken on your bike recently?

    i caught my rear derailleur cable three strands from breaking yesterday. cut it, pulled it and replaced it. best part? didn't have to micro-adjust at the barrel, tension was perfect when i pulled and tightened at the bolt. it's the little things.

    speaking of gloves - anyone know a good product to add 'grippers' to the thumb and index finger? i've got a pair of gloves that i like when i do occasionally wear gloves that don't have them and are slippery on the shifter and levers.
