so... I probably wont see a response to this until after I've ridden the trails, but maybe. so I just want to know some basic things like: How many trails will there be this weekend? It sounds like there are now two DH trails and one NorthShore/freeride trail. do you have the proposed pump track...
Hey guys... update... this is a video from the jam last weekend... none of me in this one but its all good. they put the riders that throw down in this one....

I actuauly like the idea of the e2, a larger bottom cup to take the higher load.
and yeah it kind of does look like the stp and chase but appears to have a higher bottom bracket than both of those bikes. the chainstays seem short, but not crazy short, I don't know just looks like a good...
well, It looks like trek is moving in the right direction with all of their freeride stuff.

yeah, that new session 88 looks sweet but look at the cam's new dj whip. It looks like its going the same direction as most of the other...
I totally agree, that wasn't aimed at you at all, I was just saying that no bike might be better than a dangerous hipster. I know that when I come up behind a wobbling guy on a pista concept i get scared. yeah alley cat racers know what they're doing, it's just an inherently dangerous sport...

yeah, that did put a damper on things, I haven't done any this year and all the bike death in chicago this year have made me think twice about these. I've only heard of one so far this year, at least since the guy died. I might do some more, I'd just have to see.
so, back on topic....
I just got a line on a $125 pike and if thats not amazing enough...
I went the old shop that I used to work for in the suburbs and they just happened to have an xfirm duke u-turn spring, that they ordered a while back. WTF who in their right mind would really stock that...
I personally think that you should have suspension if you're going to use a one legged fork design. with the lefty the suspension gives but if you make it rigid I don't imagine the energy transferring up the for leg into the bike but buckling at some point or at least flexing a lot.
This is a crazy looking bike basically a 26in cruiser with modern geometry. sorry if this has been posted before but I never noticed it.
also anyone got specs on the 2008 nighttrain or the 2008 thunderbird, what are the differences?
Hey everybody,
I know most of can't do too much to be directly involved in this project but I thought I would post up the info here, so those who are interested can contact me and so the community as a whole is informed about what is going on in Chicago.
We are in the early stages of...
