Did it solve the problem completely or were there still issues. I have no issues with my upper back on a daily basis.....only under hard extended pushes on my RBK or MTB. No problem XC skating or in the moguls. No problem hucking or short extreme climbs. Occasionally, there is residual...
A repost from the NEMBA site:
Since last July, I have experienced an upper back burning sensation between the shoulder blades. This occurs mainly when I'm pushing hard for a while on the road bike or on an extended climb on my MTB. As a result, I gave up my road TTs and have had to back off...
No, I haven't traded in my Bullit. Dirtboy made me try his Big Box bike for the XC ride...........nice......fast and smooth. Should have had on my XC rags.
Yah, we both went careening left on the Dollar landing. I was steering the bike while the saddle was eating my gut............somehow saved it with some pain.
Damn bike squirted out from under me on the landing, but I saved the landing at the expense of the saddle jamming my gut for about 20 feet before I finally slowed to a stop. That's what I get for "training off" the Leaf and Dollar Drop behind Dirtboy. Second time will be a charm.
The explosive noises aside, it's the flush that's a dead give away. You can always leave the toilet until the conversation is over and then go back and do the flush..........and hope that nobody else has used the facilities.
On the other hand, multi tasking while on the toilet can be a...
Geeze John, we were just doing trail work at Nam yesterday. What time in the AM did this happen? Probably came thru downtown Ashland. If he is commuting, he may divert to Rt 85 Southboro or east to Salem End in Ashland for awhile. The ahole was probably on a cell phone or texting. Give me...
When are you going to stop riding sissy bikes and join us on hucks and DH?
s#it, I'll be his age before I see you do your first 2 or 3 footer....ya got 9 years to practice.......punk. But you do take great pics.
What the ......this guy is still racing? I used to line up with him and his bud at the Mt Snow Nationals NORBA XC race.....couldn't believe a guy in his 60's was still racing XC. He had also raced the DH course. I think I saw a pic of him on the DH course. Lost track of the XC results, but...
Rode the hills and canal area several years ago with Evan S. It was one of those "worst" rain events in years. Coming off the high ground and into the canal area, we made a huge mistake. The Blackstone was in flood stage, but we went in anyway. At some point, it was obvious that we should...
LOL.
Can't catch a break.....now "medicare" will be on the "hurtful" commentary list by the crew I ride with...along with he's "75......92".................
......"what are you thinking about.... the early bird special?"....."he collects SS between rides", etc.
Yes, you really have to...
Z asked me about a place to swim.....she found it. Is she wearing mountain bike shoes on that jump? We all could have used a very cool swim at Nam today. I lost about 3 pounds, even after throwing down post ride assorted drinks.
Nice pics and a great crew.
Beat up.....heck yah. Wasn't sure things were going to work out for me after the early tree crash. To think I wasn't going to wear a full face and chest armor because of the heat. I remember the tree coming up fast and the mouth guard taking the "ouch" for me...
Nice pics. Actually, if you know the area, the flow is great. We always have a great time sessioning the climbs. You definately work harder riding the trails at Lynn, but with some effort and or luck, many climbs can be made(I would say that 7 miles there is equal to at least 14 at Nam). Since...
