I tried the foam roller for a bulging disc, did not help much. But I still use it after a hard ride etc as a self massage, leaves you feeling more relaxed and maybe helps to prevent muscle soreness a bit.
To anyone suffering back pain, try this book. I was given it by a road cyclist friend...
What I was getting at, was you could run a shorter stem. I think that over 6 foot warrants a large frame in most brands these days. The suspension feels great, I was not expecting it to be feel any better than the glory, but I think it is, I don't know if that is because of less weight or what...
I am 6'3 with an 010 large and it feels great, not as long as the glory I had before. I run a 55 mm stem. I think the 011 is 1 cm longer in the top tube. I would say a large, I sat on a medium and it felt small. You can always stick a shorter stem on there.
Danny Hart has always rode like that. There was a funny article years ago in Mountainbiking UK magazine, where Shaums March did a masterclass with up and coming young Brit riders and he said that Danny was the fastest but he would never get away with that style of riding when he got bigger, it...
OK after doing some searching I appear to be have the old motion control damper that sram replaced because of problems. This is not possible where I am, so going to have to fix myself. I think the floodgate has stuck on, can I adjust it independently of the knob? Just need to adjust and leave...
Ok I serviced my fork and stuck it on my new frame. I notice the floodgate seems to be not working, it just turns the Blue LSC knob, sure it used to turn independently without affecting the LSC knob. Forks have also lost their initial plushness, feel like there is too much air or running loads...
I asked this in another thread, but got no answer, so started a new one as its a new question. Anyone serviced theirs? I did my own DHX, anything I should look out for, guess there is still 10w oil in there?
I tried turning the compression down on my Fox Rc4(2010 First Generation) and when uscrewing it some oil leaked out? Anyone know why this is and will it cause any problems, still seems to ride Ok.
I had never heard of this! I drove a long way to a race to find this out...
So where does the problem come from the hub or the sram cassette? Everyone seems to use Sram these days, I always used Shimano, but Sram seems better value these days when you look at price to weight ratio in my part of...
Ok I will check this, but the cassette will still sit in the same position, when I place the cassette on the freehub body, the smallest cog barely sits on the splines. I think if I try to run it it will just shred them as it is only sitting on them about one mil. The chain sits very close to the...
This is strange. I swapped my old wheel on to my new frame(mondraker summum). It is a 9 speed hub, everything is tight etc I put a new sram pg970 cassette on, old one was a shimano. But the cassette seems to wide for the freehub body, the smallest cog spins when I put it in the the 9th gear and...
I am fitting some SLX cranks on a mondraker summum (73mm bb). The cranks are the double bash setup, I am using the 36 tooth ring as the single ring. Frame is iscg 05. The chain tabs for the small ring on the cranks do not clear my chain guide bolts(gamut P30) so I started to file them down. But...
Only 1/2 inch longer. I thought they would be longer than that, guess I am going to have to forget it as the 32'"are about 7 or 8" too short. I think royal are the only company making pants for taller guys, but I don't like their stuff too much. Guess you work for Nema? how about making pants...
I have the race shorts 32" waist and they are a great fit. But I was sent some pants in a 32" and they are too short. Does anyone know if the the 34" & 36" have a longer leg? Nema website does not give this information. I am 6'3 and of slim build and struggle to find pants long enough!
