How about a series in the early spring? this time of year with the holidays and birthdays makes it hard to get down there. I really want to ride there again.

You had a super fast run. Glad that I saw you at the hip jump when I did and was able to stop to let you pass. I would have hated to have cost you 3 seconds trying to get to a point for you to pass. I tried to keep up after you passed but couldn't catch back up.

If you do go I would suggest riding with someone that knows the mountain. There are certain routes you can take that are less technical but still a lot of fun. They would also be able to tell you when you are going to have to walk around a certain feature that is too technical for your ability...

You mean "Spectre" SK6. Not sure about that one since it is new. If it isn't invisible to it now then it will be. They have a non-obsolescence policy and you can always upgrade your detector.
Sure is. You are looking for anti VG-1 capability. None of them are truly invisible. What they do is make the outgoing signal so week that unless the officer is right next to you or there are no other cars on the road they can not tell who has the radar detector. Even with the officer right...
The only problem with that detector Mike is that it doesn't tell you where the signal is coming from and how many targets there are. Cops love to hide in the shadows of automatic door openors at 7-11 and the like that use a very similar frequency. Check out Valentine One for a nice detector...
You guys are killing me. I'm Jonesing to ride some but can't get the Dr. clearance yet, darn foot. Hopefully Wednesday I will know how much longer. My luck it will "R" word next weekend.

Yeah once you hit exit 130 on 95 going north in the morning it is pretty much stop and go all the way up to DC. That is why I work at exit 126... I still don't understand why traffic creaps so bad when there aren't any accidents to slow up the traffic. People need to learn how to drive!
Thank you everyone for the well wishes. We had a blast down in Costa Rica. No biking per the wife... That is next year.
We did however get to go zip lining, ATVing, on a boat tour, and plenty of food and alcohol was consumed.
We are definitely looking forward to being able to be more social...
