I was just looking into the same thing - I think if you want a value for money bike it would be a Specialized Pitch Pro or a Giant Trance X2 is my 2 cents.
Videographers are turning the riders into DYI "brands" like - Masters, Delfs etc, not just sponsored puppets. That's a good thing IMO.
SMS is catching on here - we did Haiti relief donations via SMS and a lot of some demographic vote on Idol right?

the first time i went was on a weekend last month... don't worry about it. if you hear someone fast coming down behind you.... just pull over. if the weather is good i'll be there this weekend too.
i've caught the bus up twice this summer.. and last time i was the only rider.... you'll live. yep, riding dh for 6 hours sure beats staying in the city. they play dvd's for you there & back and the price is ok. i'll do it again....
