    I had 9 days of vacation/sick pay to use but considering we have to pay for next year's wedding ourselves, that money was better saved. So no break for me... oh well.

    Kenda tires... mother $%&#er.

    I've been running Stans on my UST Kenda Karmas for two years now with n'er a problem. I know you can't return them if you use sealants but I've never had to. Nevegal Stick-Es were great but I wore them down WAY too fast here in the land of sharp plants and sandpaper-rocks.

    I wear my mtn bike shoes for both road/commute and mtb so I use Shimano SPD pedals on all my bikes. I like the mtn bike shoes for climbing stairs, etc. Road shoes are fine if you don't plan on walking more than 10'

    One of the worst I encountered was a pig farm in the middle of Missouri on a hot, humid summer day. Part of the MS150 road ride... going up a long, slow climb downwind from this stench-factory.
