Set of front and rear Avid Elixir 5 brakes. Off a bike I bought earlier this year. Low miles on them, 1 small scratch on the right lever. 180mm post adapters, and hardware included.
Lightly used 2014 Float 32 CTD Evo, 150mm travel, 15mm thru axle, tapered head tube cut to 6 7/8". Excellent condition, maybe 150 miles of XC on it, stanchions are perfect. Has a scratch on the crown from cable rub, but otherwise, very nice. Came stock on my bike purchased earlier this year.
Looks like that's one of the weekends I'm working. Usually only friday,
but now I have to do sat. too occasionally and this is one of them. I'm up
for other venues, let me know which ones you are planning on.
B.
Some picks of the backyard track for this year. Same set up as last year, bigger berms and smoothed out surface for this year. Hear are some pics of my first night session last week.
The pics are ****e, but until I get some good ones.
It's finally complete!(well, it will always need something) I finished most of the tweaking this past weekend. I'll get some pics up soon.
--Could still use some more dirt....bigger=faster.
People who see me riding it think the same thing....department store. Aside from the rear triangle cracking(2 times), It's a great bike. My brother and I are going to fab. up a new rear triangle for it, then it should be good for another couple years.
They use alot of V-twin parts...pretty much crap. It's like a standard chopper w/ a bunch of little do-dads attached to it. There are much better builders out there. The show is pretty funny though.
Real nice!!
I never saw anyone else w/ one of these.
I have a VRS1.0 that my brother gave me, been through a couple 24hrs. and he pretty much upgraded everything xt-xtr. It doesn't weigh much, and I'm sure it makes a great single.
Finally on R/M! I checked out the video the other night, looks great! I really want to get some DH stuff on film. Maybe @ Diablo, if I can get my brakes working properly. Mid-Week shed hike?
Reg. car is cool for shuttle. The road is pretty nice. The trails are nice. I'll have to get hold of Brandon(went w/ him). Him and 2 locals, can't remember their names, one was on a sweet chumba F4, knew all the spots. Big fun!
**I sent brandon a pm. I think one of the guys might be...
It looks like the weather for Sunday is clearing up and after the next couple days it should be pretty dry at the Shed. Is anyone heading out Sunday? I don't think I'll have the truck, but if someone has some shuttle room, I'd be glad to kick in on the petrol.
That sounds cool. I'm going to try to get out there in June. Originally I wanted to do FatTire, but I've been pretty slack on the riding. It's been picking up though.
Cheers.
I spoke w/ Mark at IH last year, had the plates and stays. At that time I found the wheel was off, not the rear, so I held off.....well, that will teach me. Looks like I'll be paying for some CNC work. F#$#in' Iron Horse!
-I'll still search though.
