Interested to hear others thoughts on this little beauty. DVO short stroke Jade rear shock that will work on a Bronson, with only a 200g weight penalty. Function over weight savings
Thoughts? Is the state of air shocks like the CCDB and the Vivid as good, or is the trusty coil still...
Bwahaha! Always good to see the directions a post can go in.
The new Dakine pad is an improvement, but not perfect. The regular tie-down is not hard to use, as "WestCoastHucker" so eloquently pointed out, but like many things, there are ways to improve. Wrapping your strap around 4+ bikes...
Hey all. There has been some discussion locally about a specifically designed tie down for shuttling of the bikes. The aim is to simplify the process when driving to a new spot, the bike park or traveling as well.
The idea is to work at securing your rides either in a rack in the bed of your...
Thanks HAB. I thought that the spindle lengths would differ. 1soulrider, you say to measure the spindle, but what I need to know is how long is the spindle on the 83mm BB version of the crank? Anyone ?
Sorry to reignite an old, old thread, but I have an issue. I am buying a 'second hand' pair of these and both sellers that i have talked with don't know the bb width? The box doesn't appear to have it on there either.
Surely someone in Ridemonkey land has some way of knowing which width the bb...
Hey Kootenay. How do you find the length of the reach and the wheelbase? I am 6'3" coming off a large Shocker and am unsure which to go? The reach on the XL is the same or very close to other frames I am looking at, but the wheelbase is real long!
Curious to hear your thoughts on this. I am...
Thanks for all the responses guys! Some great info. It is definitely hard to tell without riding one. Unfortunately I don't like my chances on getting a hold of a large Legend. Maybe the Demo. I am definitely leaning towards mixing it up with the Demo, they sure look like the kind of fun I am...
Hey all. I know this kind of thread can be fround upon, but I would really like a little knowledgable input from the community. I am looking at a new dh frame and as you may have guessed from the title, am torn between the Demo 8 and the Banshee Legend.
I am currently on an Cove Shocker (with...
Never had a break with more modulation personally. Sounds more like something to do with the set up. I find my elixers on my AM bike much more on/off as you described. Maybe try giving them a bleed. Or perhaps hit up a shop to have a look at them.
This is awesome news for Gwinny and TWR. But I would like to know what Needles is up to now? Anyone have any insights or shall I start up another e-spec thread for him ;)
I agree. I absolutely love my swampthings for the wet conditions around here, but as soon as it dries out and firms up they can dance around a fair bit.
True point and I can empathize with everyone in the other towns being frustrated with the move. I and many other Squamites are just hoping it doesn't end up backfiring on the community in the near future. It is a possibly, at least for the local provincial riders out there.
I'm glad that you pointed out Cliff. Many people are throwing it on Squamish as if the entire town is to blame. No one even knew about it until this week, with the exception of maybe a couple of people.
If you have been using the phrase for so long then why not do something a little more progressive with it, like trademarking it—especially considering how forward thinking you are?
Step back for a sec and ask yourself what you're so upset about, the fact you didn't do anything about it...
I'm in Squamish and couldn't get it on Freecaster, but it is streaming on cbc for free. (our national broadcaster).
