I was going to not shoot the race today and ride instead, but it looks like I just got rained out, so I guess I'll be shooting the race after all. Tomorrow's forecast is also calling for rain for the Trick Showdown.
First of all, it's Squamish; there is no letter r in it. The second thing I know is that there are a ton of trails in the whole area. Even just in Whistler there is a lot of great riding outside of the bike park. I have a friend in Squamish who's lived there for about two years now and still...
I always take my D80 with me. I forget the brand of my backpack (got it at Big 5), but it has one big zipper compartment for the bladder and another one the same size that my camera fits into (with padding, too). I can fit a lot in that little pack.
I wish the frame view aimed more toward the ground to show more of the trail/terrain. Otherwise, pretty cool video. I also wish it had a regular helmet cam view.

How old is that picture? I didn't think her hair looked at all red at Crankworx (and I was maybe 15 feet away for a few minutes).
I'm actually surprised this thread wasn't made with her in mind...
