yep those guys or Fluidride know their stuff!!!
my shop, Recycled Cycles, provides awesome service too BUT can't offer much for suspension and hydraulics... everything else is welcomed! and we have really good turnaround time right now... we're open 7 days a week...
good job man! so the solution i've proposed actually worked out for you! ;)
haven't tried it with mine yet - just being lazy and waiting for my Team...
try the same on the damper side... you just need to take the rebound shaft off no need to drain the damper oil...
post some photos man...
on the bottom of the right leg there's a c-clip that holds the rebound assembly o-rings plug thingy inside of the stantion... when you compress the fork that plug moves like 2mm away from the c-clip... i'll try to make it stop moving to be sure that was the problem... otherwise it shouldn't do...
take your spring out and see if it's still clicking... that was my problem with a Race... if not put your spring back and add a preload spacer...
black spring??? mine came with a blue, red and yellow...
so i've talked to SRAM... they are shipping me a brand new fork... BUT i think i've figured out what's wrong... on the bottom of the leg there's a c-clip that holds the rebound assembly o-rings plug thingy inside of the stantion... when you compress the fork that plug moves like 2mm away from...
it clicks at top-out or sag... it clicks upside down too... but if you compress it upside down half the travel the clicking is gone... and seems to me that this messes up comp-reb adjustments... my comp adjuster works different all the time... it's either almost locking out my fork or doing...
are there any plans on rebuilding the middle line?? at least the first double? or just tell me what's wrong with it? cased it like 30 times! :disgust1:
yeah i have switched from hayes 9 to code 5s and i loooove them!!! they were awesome from the factory!! have them since september... haven't changed pad yet... bled them like a month ago just for fun... dot 4 or 5.1 will do... lots of power! great modulation!
