I think you have some labeled as JD that arent really him. one of those pics
labeled jd has a guy in a yellow tld suit, riding a bike with a manitou travis (jd rides rockshox) and a different helmet
I guess a better question would be has anyone tried to run any michelin 2.2 tire with an iso of 54-559 on a blur lt?
Im thinking more about the michelin x'treme 2.2, any good?
Very rocky, slow climbs to the top of big mountains, with fast dh on the way down. I wouldn't mind running 2.35 on both, but I already have the 2.5 dh tires, and money is short so I wanted to buy as few tires as possible (especially since I have so many all ready)
Oh most guys who ride these...
So this spring I will be spending a week in so cal with my friend who used to live there. He said you pretty much have to run dh casing tires for trails like tunnel.
So I have a blt that I will be riding out there, but my 2.5 minion dhr the center knobs hit the seatstay bridge.
What would be...
it's clearly for an outdoor buff whose stubborn girlfriend refuses to go camping unless its off the ground, has a hardwood floor, and is this seasons hot color. He just hopes to get lucky while camping once, just once for christ's sake!
no I'm not bitter:disgust:
just for the record I'm not "hating" on xc, or having a lightweight bike. I tend to think that when you start sacrificing strength for astronomical costs and flashy carbon parts thats a little rediculous.
I am involved in my local club, and have been building trails around here for 10 years...
oh thats not the issue, I used to ride a long stemmed skinny tire xc bike but no fat chicks.:twitch:
Does it change anything to mention this rider is among the old gaurd in the local mtb organization that refuses to build any challenging trails or acknowledge any other forms of mtb other than...
dude you're in pa, get yeungling! So pissed they won't distribute to ohio. But for higher quality just start trying microbrews, there's so many out there but locals will be the freshest and therefore more satisfying. See if you can find one you like that sells growlers and then get them...
apparently now it has avid ultimates and a fox f29
unfortunately this is what mountain biking (apparently) is coming to here in blohio. who can spend the most money, have the lightest bike, and have it look best in their living room. :disgust1:
the "resorts use them" argument cracks me up, most resorts will use any reputable brand that lowballs everyone else for a fleet of bikes, you think the general manager of most ski resorts knows or cares what makes a bike good? I think new konas feel cheap, and aren't worth the price. My first...
check out last months issue of TWO, I think, it was one of the british motorcycle mags, some national champion british downhiller that rides for giant beat a guy on a honda cr450f on his glory down a trail. Pretty sweet.
any thule fork mount with the 532 ride on adapters will work. If it was me I would go with yakima mighty mounts and a highroller. I like yakimas product better than thule, and with the high roller no matter what bike you have you can cary it, but the bike does sit higher and decreases gas...
Just like the title says, what was the most interesting present you got this year for xmas, good or bad.
I'll start off, my sister brought me back an authentic aboriginal didgeridoo from australia. Now when the trails are too wet to ride I can learn how to play it!
