    great review. i just ordered the BP-7850 and now im glad i did. all of the other brands' upper armor suits just never seem to fit right or feel comfortable. i have high hopes for this new shock doctor stuff!

    My First Real DH Bike

    When I opened it up, I thought that the FSR was your "new" DH bike. Then I saw the Foes, which is a pretty good upgrade. Nice bike for sure!

    I just bought an '08 888RC3 and I absolutely love it. The weight isnt that bad and its super smooth. The adjustment knobs feel great and offer mucho adjustment. Cant wait to race it next season!

    Single Crown Long Travel Fork?

    66 or totem. The new '08 66's are super nice. New QR20 axle, 38mm stanchions, and you can get them in a 1 1/8 or 1.5". Totems seem nice too.

    Best bang for your buck FS XC?

    Either a Specialized FSRxc or Stumpjumper depending on the price range you are looking. The FSRxc's have 4" travel and range from 1300-about 2000 and the Stumpy's have 5" and are 2200 and up

    DH/FR shocks, wheelsets, etc., which is better?

    keep the shock and send it to Push and have them dial it in especially for you. Thats my opinion on the shock
