Not if you keep them in a Camelbak (if you use one). Mine is a switchblade key, kept by iteself, so unless it clicks itself it won't be a problem. I also use the disconnecting keychain so i can leave all my other keys (locked) in the glove compartment.
And yeah, car always gets locked...
This is true...but it's not all that fun to have a roof rack on when you aren't hauling bikes/boards/whatever. Most locks on roof racks are so half assed that thieves won't really be challenged at all, unless you mean they won't be as likely to take them because they're higher up. I guess my...
So i'm kinda re-new here...used to be under the name NRSracer but lose the password and the email address. I know one or two of you might remember me but not really. Fell out of biking for a while and am now getting back into it and hope to race and do a charity ride this summer. I did race...
VW recommends every 105k for a VR6 (24V). A guy that works on them recommended ~90k or so. The fun part is it can run $1000+ and if you don't get it replaced it can do a lot more damage.
So I've maybe neglected my rear shock a little bit over the years and don't remember which chamber is supposed to be at what pressures. I know one chamber is supposed to be 10-20 lbs higher than your body weight, but I don't remember which chamber is which, or what the pressure in the other...

I'm gonna agree with Indie Boy.
XC is what I mostly what I have ridden and raced since I started...and seat height is really one of the most important things to think about. If its too high you arent getting all your power that you can, too low and you start to get tired and uncomfortable...
will do. the replies here are more than enough to get me started...I still have plenty of time seeing as I have to save the money still and get donations lined up...not to mention wait for it to warm up a little (its finally snowboard season too)
Haha...I meant "good" steel like not on a walmart bike or something like that, not calling anything else crappy or anything like that. I think I might actually change my mind and go with something steel with all these things (especially the failure, happened before and sucked) and CF failing...
I've thought about just grabbing the tires and some other comfort parts for either my xc race bike or the other mtb, but after riding a road bike it's just not the same for me, not to mention the hassle it would give me to switch parts between training rides and MTB races. Even though I'm more...
Hi,
I'm planning on doing a charity ride this summer (MS ride for those familiar). I've done the ride before, but now I no longer have a road bike. The one I used before was in questionable shape and I'm surprised it lasted the few hundred miles that it did.
I'm thinking about two main...
