getting the wheel repaired isn't really an option because discount tires won't work on it once it's repaired. Apparently a lot of places won't even repair a wheel when it's going on a diesel truck.
Sorry, no americans racing in europe here. Gotta change the channel for that one.
So this is totally not bike related but I'm pissed.
So I've got a cracked weld sidewinder wheel on my truck. Weld racing got taken over/bought by American Racing some time after I bought my wheels. Now American racing is telling me there's nothing they can do for me. They give me all sorts of...
so I've got a hope number 8 caliper M4 the older silver style with the pro lever. My buddy has a 40 on his bike and wants to buy my brakes. Is there any way to adapt this brake to that fork? I'm pretty sure there's not but it's worth asking.
Getting the wrench is great first step but it won't do you any good if you don't have the torque specs for what you're working on.
So say you're taking the rear end apart on your frame you'd need information such as this from the iron horse website...
my buddy has a ringle on his bike, took the pawls out and bent the springs a little to make it even louder. When I'm remotely close to him either in front or behind on the trail that's all I can hear. Apparently you can use the same trick on the phil woods and they get stupid loud too.
I have a handbuilt Mag30 that's stood up to some rough times on the back of a rm7, bullit dh rig, and now a jack flash. It's got a crack at one of the spoke holes but it still goes round in circles fine. If it were me I'd just run it till you can afford a new one or till it explodes. Face it...
I have had my GMC 2500hd Duramax for a year now and have been involved heavily in the diesel world because of it. Right now the only drawback of diesel is that it's getting freaking expensive! The east coast is starting to stock up on the red diesel for their heating oil and the diesel...
If you're looking to piece a bike together you might take a look at the Planet X Jack flash frame. I have used mine for everything from urban freeriding or whatever you want to call it, to Dh, to a trailbike. It all depends on how you build it. My Jack Flash has had a monster, super t, and z1...
kanter, what is it about the z1 sl that breaks? It must be something in the air spring because the rest of the fork is the same Z1 chassis as the rest of the series isn't it?
I was looking at the 2006 version which I quickly realized was not even for sale yet. I'll just have to wait and see once people start riding these things.
As far as the manitou, I'm sure they're making good stuff but I've broken way too many manitous to ever buy one again so it's out of the...
looky what I found http://www.cambriabike.com/shopexd.asp?id=17081
it's the t2 which I believe wasn't as adjustable if memory serves correctly but for a hucker it should fit the bill just fine.
