Hey all,
I tried searching but didn't come up with much. Can anyone recommend a good wheel builder in the area? I need to get a rear wheel laced for the new DH rig and since I am newer to the area I have no clue where to go. I live in the south bay .
Thanks!
I have a similar question.
I have a set of Hayes Mags on my freeride bike. The rear brake is sufficient, but the front experiences fade and isn't quite as powerful as I would like. I am wondering if a set of braided cables and better pads would do the trick, or if I should upgrade to...
Hey Marz I am in the same boat. I just moved to the South Bay from Reno and am looking for some FR and DH to ride now that my broken wrist is healing.
I am used to the aforementioned policy of keeping local trails just that...local. I am willing to put in the time digging, doing...
Thanks for the replies. I am still getting back into dirt jumping (took a hiatus to ride DH for a couple years) so it sounds like pleasanton is a good place to check out.
I rode the pleasonton park on my BMX and it was pretty fun. I will have to give it a go on the 24.

Thanks!

Not saying it's the end all be all, but just how I did it.
I'm in hayward. The park by my house isn't too bad, but i feel like I'm getting sized up by the homies dealing drugs there when I go. Dublin/Pleas isn't too far from me. Sounds promising.
Hello all,
I am newer to the Bay and am looking for some good bike friendly skateparks. I live in the east bay, but am willing to travel for some good riding. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
^ I agree with the staying away from the demo rear. Primo or Shadow will do you very well! Ive witnessed countless Demo's die.
I actually prefer the the LX brakes with XTR lever over the XTR. However I like a little more on/off. The XTR's have more progressive feel.
WTP cranks are nice. I...
