Thanks for the reply. That seems to be the best place from what I've been able to gather. Hope to make it up there as much as I can. Do you know how long of a drive it is from Petaluma? Thanks
I might be headed out to Petaluma CA for 5 weeks in January. I wanted to try and get some riding in while I was out there and would like to get some feedback. #1 How are the trails out there? #2 Is it better to rent a bike or go ahead and ship my own? I would probably only be able to ride...
I got out for a nice ride Saturday morning at Nickerson, just me and my therapist (my Stumpjumper). They re-opened the park for camping so I had to get out early enough so the trails would not be crowded. Conditions were great and I had the trails to myself!
Nice pics. I started riding with the Wednesday night group at Trail of Tears again this week. Talk about an ego buster! I've been riding solo most of the winter, and actually thought I would be able to keep up with those guys. I wanted to puke bad, but made it through a brutal 12 mile loop. It's...
Nice pictures. I was the one of the guys you passed just on the other side of the power lines. We were just wrapping up a pretty long morning and I was sucking some major wind at that point. Next time you guys get down this way let me know and maybe I can meet you guys down there.
Thanks, I just got it. (It's an 07 though) the former owner runs one of the bike shops down here, and has a slew of personal bikes. This one was barely used. It has a Marzzochi all mountain shock up front, instead of the Fox, and one of the guys at the shop dialed it in perfect for me. It's my...
Yea we did, it was a group of three. They were the only other people we saw today. Had Quebec plates on the car. How's Vietnam? I saw you post some pics from a night ride the other day. I have not ridden there before, but some of the guys I ride with have been up there and say it's a blast. I'm...
The weather on Cape Cod was great today. Headed out to Otis for 3 hours of Mountain Biking bliss. Good mix of stunts/rocks and xc riding. I'm in the white jacket, Longshanks in the green. More pics on the NEMBA website. Only took one quick video of Shank's. Here is the link.
There were a bunch of Stumpjumpers out there ! I know I was on mine :)
It's my first dual suspension bike, so I am still adjusting to the travel. I must say, it's pretty sweet on the drops! :monkeydance:
I was out there early Sun morning. What a great day for a ride. I live farther out on the Cape so I don't ride Otis as much as the other trails on the Cape. It was nice to put my new(er) Stumpjumper through the paces.
