I have two Pro women on my race team riding the Zerode, and they slay on them, and not one complaint about any extra weight, sure the bike is a little heavier than your carbon demos, v10's and such, but the other benefits of the bike far outweigh that issue. It pedals extremely well for a DH...
The Zerode is just amazing! It rides so much better than anything I have ever ridden. The GEO is spot on, and the suspension is the best, the rearward wheel path keep you low and straight through the rough stuff, and doesnt kick your rear end up when you hit square edges at speed. It's also a...
You can run, of course the hadley with a 137mm axle conversion, a sun ringle with a 2mm washer add on, a spinergy, with a 2mm washer add on. Ony problem with the 2mm washer, it makes changing the tire a big job, its so hard to get it in place. Go with the hadley.
Yes its true changing tires with stans is a pain, I have 3 sets of wheels with different tires on them for quick changes, but I know not everyone has that option, I am sure Kenda will make some UST DH tires soon, lets hope.

I don't get it.
So what would you do to keep the cups perfectly straight so you dont lose alignment of the fork? This seems like a tricky concept. You may need to have a few long pins to line the cups up together as well as a line guide to center then perfectly with the frame... anyone get what i'm saying here...
