Cool. Sorry for the spam. I gotta green crosscheck that I ride just about everywhere, Put a 27 on so I can go up steeper stuff. In fact, just thinking about it makes me wanta go out and ride. There are quite a few ice rinks on the bike trail, so wish me luck!
I gotta Surly crossbike, Trek OCLV Carbon 110 road bike, Trek STP mountain bike, a KHS tandem, and one of those crazy swing bike cruisers. Have you seen one of those? They are nuts.
Why do you ask?
I would not say it's sicker... just a lot less fun. With riding a bike 24 hours, at least you can roll along and have fun... experimenting with different lines, practicing cornering and what not. But this race just sucks the whole time. Going up sucks. Going down sucks. I wouldn'ty do it.
