July 2014 East Coast DH tour
Ive ridden all the places you listed except MSA. MSA rider can clarify but im pretty sure its only has a couple of trails. By all means i would cut Kilington out and try to do 2 days at Bromont and yes be sure to ride bot sides. Plattekill is great and yes you need a ride guide local whatever...- LOOnatic

What are you wearing on your elbows?
I'm using the d3o 661 pads and they so work quite well. Since you liked the dainese stuff definitely check out the ones with the BOA closure system. Been using the knee pad versions and they do stay put more than any other pad ive used and thats alot over the years (im a hack and crash alot so...- LOOnatic

Point taken..i have definitey ridden some pretty lame "flow" trails that ironically did not have any. Having ridden DH for long time and also from a BMX background i have noticed that my buddies and people i meet that hate flow trails are guys that cant jump very well and thus cling to the gnar style trails. I love nasty gnar as well just making an observation....- LOOnatic

Avalanche 35mm boxxer cart not level?
The RC- race version Boxxers are more prone to have a mis bored hole than the team and WC models. Its pretty hit or miss how bad its going to be and i believe AVY Craig posted some info a while back how to mitigate it. Thats really all you can do unless you buy new lowers. Yes your 2wd drive is ok for shuttling. Its a paved road. Me and a buddy will gladly give you a run or 2 on our DH bikes but will have to swap the brake levers around. -

2014 Pike seals in 35mm Lyrik's and Boxxers
Thanks for that tid-bit of info as i was not aware. I am aware of riders sometimes removing the oil seals in a Boxxer to reduce friction although this does increase the service interval which is already pretty frequent. I really dont see why it would not work unless the Pike seal combo has a...- LOOnatic
