I don't have a reign yet, but i want to buy a 05/06 model. Like the one shown above, with the bigger "shock hole".
It's kind of an low budget project. I known, low budget don't go with dhx remote reservoir..... that why it's only a kind of low budget ;)

found that picture on pinkbike. It seems, that the 2005 reign can handle a coil shock.

Riding during Crankworx isnt that bad, if you avoid riding a-line and all those "oooh my god dad, thats the trail from that movie... i've got to ride it!"-trails at the lower mountain.
so, stay on garbanzo allday and you will have empty trails.
No matter how good or bad a bike is, a rental bike will always feel strange, espacially in whistler. 2006 i had to rent a RMX/Switch (summit sports) because i broke my boxxer on my own bike.
It was awful, those bikes aren't a single penny worth! They are in unbelievable bad conditions!

You should also check out Bad Wildbad (gnarly, rocky Downhill-Track, lift-accessed) and Todtnau Bikepark. They are both openend until (mid) October.
