Axle to crown longer than it should be?

Just an update for general knowledge. I had the shop open up the fork last night. When they opened up the bottom of the right leg (under the damper) pressure released and sprayed oil everywhere. For whatever reason there was pressure built up underneath the cartridge. Never heard of it...

Axle to crown longer than it should be?

So, I've been kinda of unhappy with the performance of my fox float 36 that is lowered to 150mm. Today I was thinking I would swap shuttle bumpers back to 160mm just to see if it would behave the same and started looking at measurements to see what it would do to the geometry. The published...

    the newest decline..

Ya, funny the best looking page was the add of the staircase with singletrack going down it. Everything else was to busy and jumbled to get any depth out of.

Trek stirring it up some more!

The two coil-over models appear to come with dual ring and either a bash or guide setup. 135mm goes to 142mm with just the addition of end caps, no huge deviation there.

New AM/Trail bike: Remedy or Fuel EX?

Depends on which side you want to lean towards. Both are excellent to pedal but the remedy loves to be gotten behind and ridden like a sled when gravity kicks in. My buddy and I are both getting in decent fifteen mile plus days of tech southern utah riding in the saddle with no complaints...

    Remedy replacement shock candidates

Shims were a great improvement, sufficient enough that i feel the bike is where i want it in the stable without getting a push or coil. All the indicated benefits are true. However now that the rear shines the fork feels a little choppy. Im running about 6mm thick worth of strips of plastic...
