there you go.
I already talked to the guys at my LBS and they showed/told me what kind of brake(s) I would need, but to have a better idea on the BB size would be the primary thing I'm looking for.
I know it's a Windsor, and I know it's made in Mexico, but I have no...
I just picked up a used vintage Windsor road bike that was converted to single speed.
Sadly since I am a pretty heavy rider and this is all older/used stuff, I have noticed a little bit of complaining from the cranks. I expected that.
I intend to keep riding it until there's actually an issue...
I'm trying to use the classifieds to find myself a new bike and I'm going in to the advanced search features and selecting bay area + northern california as the region. Whenever I do this, it says "no results found", yet I can manually go through the ads and ctrl+f "bay area" and ads show up...
about a quarter mile of hard packed dirt trail that had recently been covered in wood fluff and woodchips making it a slow, uneventful ride. and the nice jump on the path had been filled in too. city officials have been busy =/
was just trying to test out the suspension and everything at...
Check for debris, make sure there's no rocks embedded in the pad or anything.
Spray everything down with brakleen.
Make sure your calipers are aligned properly + applying even pressure to both sides of the rotor.
Make sure your rotor is within spec.
There could be any number of things...
A buddy of mine put some cranks on his bmxer, both arms at 12 o'clock. didn't realize what he had done until he got everything else buttoned up and looked at the bike from a distance. I didn't wanna say anything 'cause I wanted to see the look on his face when he realized it. Pure gold.:D
Got the elixir mounted, had to cut off the left grip to take the old combination shifter/brake lever off and switched the front brake to the right side (which is actually more familiar anyways since I've ridden a motorcycle more recently than a normal bike). Rear derailleur needs to be adjusted...
IT wasn't just a body style revision, they updated from the P1 platform to the P2. Completely different chassis, almost a completely different car.
But definately get a Volvo, V70s rule.
edit\\
FWD isn't nessecarily boring. I don't like it as much as RWD or AWD even but it's not like it's...
Dude, you're only 20. good luck getting a rental car place to rent to you for anything reasonable, especially something "Fast". You're considered a huge liability as far as any company is concerned and that means they're gonna charge you out the ass for a rental in case you bin it.
You'd be...
You've pretty much got two options:
1. find a template you like, learn html and css, then code everything how you want it
2. use dreamweaver again :p
Programs like dreamweaver make it really easy, the learning curve shouldn't be very steep. I'd say just find a copy and fiddle with it a...
noted, I'll pick up a hydraulic setup for the front when I can.
My logic was the fact that I have NO rear brake and a working front brake, plus I rarely if ever use my front brake due to bad experiences with flipping myself over the handlebars as a kid :p
Guess I'll have to get over that...
Right, so, as some of you may or (more than likely) may not remember, I've got a 2004 Banshee that I've been building up. Well, since I was last on here, I've made some progress, and it's almost ridable.
Got the crankset mounted and the largest chainring replaced with a bashguard, found my...
Thankfully the company I work for doesn't really subscribe to that philosophy.
Yes, the customer is important, they are after all, ultimately the ones paying all of our paychecks, helping us generate business and such, but management has made it pretty clear that they're not always right...
TELL ME ABOUT IT.
I do a couple of things when I get nervous. I clean things randomly and I can't sleep among others.
It's nearly 0300 and I have to be up at 0630. Training for my new job starts at 0730 and I can't get back to sleep...
i got 3.83g plus whatever the weight of that nug of GDP weighed for $30. Sticky to the touch, smells wonderful, and it's homegrow. Woo California. :weee:
