I've been riding my hardtail a bit more since the weather has been bad. We've had a bit more snow this year than we've had in a while, and the hardtail is easier to pedal through snow than the full suspension. I still really enjoy riding full suspension, but the hardtail seems to really hone the...
I like to switch back and forth between my hardtail and suspension bikes. The hardtail makes trail riding "interesting" again. It makes me pick my lines a little more carefully, and makes the trails around my area seem more technical. I really enjoy throwing the flats on the hardtail and just...
I never used the 3rd ring up front. I guess it depends on where and how you ride. Around Pisgah, the 3rd ring would act as a pretty good crampon for logs. I have single ring and double ring on my bikes, normally with guides.
My youngest son also had the heavy mongoose bmx style bike until he was big enough to ride a 20" bike. I bought him a 20" specialized hotrock and the difference was incredible. Scott also makes a quality kids bike. I think I paid around 200 for the specialized bike. well worth the money.

Sends a great message to our youth. If that is supposed to be comedy, then I don't know the meaning of the word.I don't care if you are religious or not, that show is nothing but trash.

I thought that riding in Pisgah was painful. We do have stinging nettles in the summer time, but I'm sure that they don't compare. Wonderful pictures of your little girl. Truly blessed. We have 3 sons; the youngest 8 years old now. And Nicholas never pooped skittles!!!!
That's the truth. One of the best downhills in Pisgah. I guess you could shuttle farlow, but you would still have a bit of climbing and pushing in between downhill sections. Possibly Bennett Gap, but the last time out there(last week) the fireroad was still closed due to a landslide.Probably the...
