I've been running these tires for about 6 months now. Hands down the best tire I've ever ridden! I don't know if they just match my style of weight distribution but they are amazing. The only thing that was annoying is that no one had them in Europe this year so it was hard to get replacements...
Thanks for the help guys. After more research ive found that a company called POD do a brave with a really good patella guard (it doesn't contact the knee and it moves as you move). I'm going to try and give these a go when I can.
Has anyone had an experience with the POD braces?
I've run Xt for some time and find on most tracks they are perfectly fine, unless your going to be riding Val Di Sole, morzine or Andorra they XTRs should feel fine.
Id go with the trail model.
The lever feel of xTRs is 100% better as they don't use the power wave.
So last weekend at MSA I managed to put multiple fractures to my patella, not a very smart thing to do I know. This is my second knee injury in about 2 years, last time my ACL was completely snapped and the meniscus in my knee was severely damaged (my other knee). So now I'm looking at getting...
I heard Tracey at a race say that he got a scan and his ACL was missing pretty much from a crash quite a bit ago. I did the same thing a while back and rode without it for like 6 months (unknowingly) and honestly it wasn't that bad, one or two hairy moments when I crashed but it was fine. If he...
I highly doubt Sam will be leaving, but maybe the rumour is going on from last years one that he is going to make his own team? Remember the 22 thing?
Would the troy thing just be about Ropelato stepping into things?
Also with SKC, I think Bryceland has been pretty good this year, been up...
I did the exact same thing as you about 8 weeks ago, The best thing I've found is exactly what bizutch said. I tape mine up most days, and if I don't tape it I use one of those pharmacy braces. I also use an arnica style product if I walk on it funny and the swelling starts to come back. Once...
Creatines and stuff are going to give you an extra boost of energy for a couple of seconds, but that's it. The biggest thing with creatine is that it hold water as energy in your muscles. This means that you have to keep hydrated or it does nothing, it's very hard to keep hydrated in the heat...
It's not so much a case that they don't want to run what their sponsors made, it's the fact that no one was informed of the rule changes so didn't bring any armour. It's pretty hard to get armour shipped in to a race at the last minute, in butt-****-nowhere
I honestly cannot believe the level of hate from posters here. I see the point that things should be check by the rider before, but this isn't always the case. The vast majority of people do not know anything about how to put a bike together, service it etc. so that is why a shop is there for...
We were meant to be able to ride one at Trek world Australia, but it got sold before anyone could ride it, was pretty annoyed at that. Keen to hear any reviews though.
I saw it in Fort William, I think it is a good film, but mainly because there isn't anything else out of last years world cup season. Sam Hill's part is awesome! I'm loving the fact there isn't gay dance or indie music being played (I'm seriously over that kind of stuff, bring back videos with...
