    new chain,new cassette, and new links. I realize the chain could be too short but i really just wanted to see if anyone else experienced this problem with the prophet, because the ways that its happened are ridiculously stupid

    Well i tried it with a little longer chain,like 2 or 3 links and it skipped bad.I then took out two links, and it broke again.Also it is a single ring set up up front with a chain guide and the rear has a road cassette.Also i was using mid cage road derailleurs ( shimano)

    I have a 2008 Prophet that i have had for about 2 weeks now and i love it.My only problem is that i have already broken two derailleurs.The weird thing is that i didn't hit it on anything or crash.Both times the derailleur has snapped on the first hinge where the bump stop bolts are.Has anyone...
