Or is there another method? any tips to get the bike back in running order (or make it easier) after a paint job would be helpful. Just want to...

    Bike Question

the question should be "do you like your bike and does it do what you want it to do?". Its not a walmart bike and they do make good bikes. Having fun is the point.... enjoy!!

    Back again

I would not recommend doing DH on a hard tail like the one you purchased. Not at that speed. Invest in full pads and helmet. You will recoup by 10 fold and med bills will not exist. most important is to have fun without sacrificing your life.

    new here

gloves can help. Seat height and angle can also be a issue. the higher the seat the more pressure on your hands. ask your bike shop that you got it from to adjust it for you.

    Size question plz help

its sounds a little small for your height. But.... If you feel comfortable on the bike then that is a personal choice. Its what you feel comfortable on. you could trade it and then sell it to get a bike that better fits you too..........

    getting a bike.

If your doing DH you need a full suspension. You can get a used Specialized BIGHIT for $600 to $1000 on craigslist. Thats where I would start. Craigslist is the best way to get a deal. I bought a Giant Reign X1 at the LBS it was $2600. I got it for $1500 in excellent condition on craigslist...
