Well I took the remedy out for a test ride today bt of climbing bit of trail and a bit of Rough DH, I have to admit that it beat my SS hands down on everything. It felt amazing in the corners and felt so stiff compared to my SS.
Anyone else got any thoughts on these 2? Anyone with the same...
Hey man not to insult your inteligence but is it hitting the seat tube or the seat tube clamp as if its hitting the latter then you should just turn it around so the bolt is facing forward.
Another thing to do is take your shock off remove the spring put the shock back on and sit on the bike...
I think the General is onto something the prices are way out and you can get a good Dh bike for the price of an Intense M6 frame!! Maybe the M6 was expensive to build and they are trying to get a bike out there that is reasonably priced and comfortable for everyone I.E 8 or so inches of travel...
Im sorry if i upset you but i never men't to suggest that you ride local trail's but it must be nice to live next to the Big Event I wish i lived there:crazy: I take it you just ride everywhere else in the world then, not your local stuff. It must be a bummer being to good for your local trails...
the only thing i know with shimano bb is they will last longer than the Race face ones, how much weight are you trying to save anyway's your talking like grams mate i don't think you will notice any difference besides its goo to have a bit of weight at the lowest point of your bike :)
Maybe at your local trails but not at world cups and the M6 has lived up to its expectations it did have a few niggles at the beginning but they were quickly sorted, it just it came out at a bad time for buying everyone i speak to is always saying they'd love to have one but they just can't...
I hear you mate but the socom never really caught on in the race side of things i think it might of had something to do with the head angle when the 2007 models came out it was 67' and was just a bit to steep for full on DH racing. I think the later 2008 model now has a revised 66' Head angle...
Hey man,
I have the SS and it is very flexi at the rear end if you grab it with your hand and pull it about but unless you do that then your not going to notice the flex!!
The bike is a brilliant all round bike it does everything well i used mine in the Mega it never faltered i found it good...
Well the info came from a very very good source so im sure it's going to happen oh and the new Manitou Dorados are going to be up front but that was expected.
I just spoke to someone on the phone who has spoke to a source and said that the bike all the crci team will be riding next year will be an 8" travel M6 bike not 2008 9.5" M6
Obviously that means alot of different changes to the current model!!
Anyone got any info on this????
Its the intrinsic that makes it feel sticky mate you can have it tuned and have that removed.
As for the it blowing through the travel thats a weird one, mine is set up rider 76kg, 85psi, high speed almost off, no.1 on the intrinsic and slow rebound with a 350lbs spring and i feel its sits...
I don't think it is better than Earthed DVD's up to Earthed 5!! If I had to be honest seeing it once was enough for me.. But its personal opinion in it??
If i had to rate it i would say average or 3 out of 5, I don't know what budget the focus team had to work to so you cant really slag them...
The Revox shock is ok man dont go throwing your money away on a CCDB until the revox has had it or you have a buyer, the Revox when set up right is ok, sure a tune up will make it a little more smoother and better at the end of the travel but that's the same with most shock's.
I'm 12st /...
Was in Darlington, UK last night to see the premier of the 3Focus video and have to say that its not bad.
The video is much the same the whole way through its shots from the various world cup races and i never much liked the soundtracks but that's a personal opinion.
There is plenty race...
I spoke to Tim and he gave me the time scale at first then he has been e-mailing them most weeks chasing them up and still just getting told that they would be with TF soon.
It was after this long wait that i decided to e-mail them myself and i got know where with them.
I spoke to a guy in...
I E-mailed BOS direct the other day to find out why my BOS shock has taken over 6months to have a new part fitted and the reply i got was, "we are to busy at the momment you will just need to wait for it"
It's the last time i buy of them.
