We have found (in the shop) that many ZEBs have tight bushings.
3/5 ZEB forks that come through need a bushing burnish.
If you get them done and add a Luftkappe or a Secus to them, that makes a huge jump in performance.
The seal kit you have seems to be the old one for the Monarchs that employed a plastic ring with a split in on one side of the smaller quad seal. If that is the case, get the newer kit.
You need to remove the adapter and pump in one go as you state.
However where are you getting your...
Tjena,
Om du fortfarande inte har fått fatt i bladders så har vi det i vår verkstad i Göteborg. Men jag tänker att du styrt upp det vid detta laget. :)

FWIW please go for the big kit one every year/year and a half.
Other parts can slowly start to go, but you get little warning before the bladder craps out.
Have had quite a few customers in the shop who only changed the seals in the outers and maybe the new head seal and a Charger top-up...
1. Check the pressure.
2. Usually your post needs a light service, outer "leg" removal, a wipedown and some new grease.
It's not uncommon that water particles sit in the grooves and on the pins and freeze, thus creating problems.
Mount the rubber cover + threaded nut over that assembly and onto the hose.
Unscrew the metal cover on the end of the hose (with the small hole in it)
Either use a tool on the slotted surfaces or a small allen key through the hole.
The thread is left hand, remember this when removing it.
That...
I ran the 54t on both my Session and Remedy this year, no issues.
As mentioned, light lube or a very small portion of DT grease is the ticket.
I weigh 190lbs and I'm quite pedal happy, I was sceptical in the beginning though (re: earlier 36t fails)
Anyone know what happened to DT's plans on...
Hello,
The proprietary tools needed aren't that expensive, but if you lack the, quite comprehensive, basic tools needed it could be a bit expensive I guess.
Check out the Reverb Service documents for the tool list. The tools/parts/stuff you need to source from RS/SRAM are (match your post type...
rhumphryes: This thread is ten years old, and the OP didn't have a clue what he was doing.
You cannot rebuild your shock in the manner described and make it work, and your shock even less so.
Contact Fox directly and ask them if they still rebuild your model shock. Do not attempt to open it...
You will need the Charger upgrade kit, it has part number: 00.4018.783.000
That includes all the right hand side internals for a charger upgrade on all the 35mm chassis models.
The do-it-all for the upcoming year.
Got myself a Remedy 9 and got tweaking.
XX1/X01/XTR drive combo (XTR cassette & chain)
Guide RSC brakes.
DT 350 hubs and EX471 rims.
Pike 160 up front and a Monarch+ Debonair at the rear, took a bit of persuading to get that to fit.
Old thread but I'll throw this in anyway.
The middle chain ring usually sits pretty well in the middle of the cassette if we are talking chain line. So usually the recommended axle width/length would be pretty appropriate. I would say that you best base the chain ring position on what gears...
Would strongly advise against a short/supershort on a triple setup unless you run a super tight cluster (i.e. 11/12-21/23)
If you run a "regular" sized cassette you will either have to have a chain that is a bit too short and really watch your gear choices or a chain that is too long for a lot...
