Hey there. So I'm running an XT setup on my two year old Santa Cruz Superlight. the bike has always been properly maintained, and I am now running into some issues as far as the tuning goes. Limits are all fine etc, even cable tension is great, however, right around the middle of my gear range...
Id say it for sure matches up to the others with the +10mm to the WB. Would it be ridiculous going any less then 64 for the HT angle, and how much would that affect BB height/WB? Also, how much does the rear travel affect WB and BB height? I'm guessing the less you have the longer and shorter...
I need some more opinions on the Scott Gambler 20 2010. I'm able to get 25% off bringing it down to $3000 CAD so I am really looking at it as a good choice, I just don't know how DH capable these frames are. Although its spec'd as "DH geometry" as well as the Gambler 10, it only has a smaller HT...
DH dedicated or not, I just wanted to know if they are making a new bike. I don't think they will totally change the frame in the future, You would think specialized already had their new bike made before signing Sam and Brendan.
That's exactly what I've been looking for. I'm thinking the Demo 1 is the best choice, but does anyone know if specialized is still making a DH dedicated bike in the future years, or are they keeping the demo? I wouldn't want to get a new bike and have something new and better come out the year...
I have these and I've noticed them to actually make my fingers quite sore, and give me nice blisters (Compared to my old ones) because they like move around a bit because of the design. Try a buddy's pair of grips for a day and see if there's any difference imo.
Sam's always been like that, even before he was winning. Its just his personality.
I think it would be sick to see Sam win here, he needs a good single result this year, kinda like he would have got at Andorra.
