    every road in the vicinity of snowshoe is fun to haul ass on, but there seemed to be more cops around this summer than previous years. And colorado roads are much more fun, but my v6 suv has tons more power at lower elevation

    Plain and simple IMO, for bikes roof racks are easier on smaller cars, hitch racks are easier for SUVs, trucks don't need either, do something in the bed.

    speed is a factor as well. Some choppers take longer than others to spin back up to take off speed.     chopper loading with blades still running. typical in high altitude rescues that are hard on choppers (8-13K elevation). They aren't done often though, most companies prefer to shut off the blades all the time.
