my medium is 1183 mm long with the fork in the low position and zero stack lower crown. my previous bike was a Large Revolt. and the M Dhr is perfect for me at 176 cm tall.
hey dude what is your problem? english is not our language and my friend doesn't excel in this area so i wanted to help him. and the frame warranty expired so he is lookin' to buy a rear triangle. where was i supposed to ask?
i am sorry for the offtopic!
not to be totally off topic, this is the first Intense DH frame i like and i would buy no question asked. nice piece of engineering there.
and now a question for Intenseman or Stikman. my buddy who i ride with has an M6 that he really loves and doesn't want to let go for anything in the world...
scientists have concluded: no aircraft invented can come close. no kiddin'. that made me piss my pants.
even if on paper we can create something similar it is still has to be made by humans or piloted by humans.
the movie is brilliant
@mats0 that is the thing i like when riding a bigger frame. put the weight on the front with no worry of being ejected. i can load the bike better plus it sits better at speeds. anyway is a matter of Reach not TT length when choosing the size.
regarding the heat treatment. an alternative to it is to delay the cooling of the welded area as long as possible. this way u don't aloud for big irregular grain to form. big grain structure causes big gaps between molecules causing early fatigue and cracks(breakes).
the solution is to have a...
the long Revolt is for you. no question about that. don't go medium. it's small. in fact Evil current sizes should be marked like this: XS, S, M, L.
i am 176 cm tall and the M seems that i'm going over the bars so i got an L. i used to ride Demo's befor wich are fairly long. i feel comfortable...
Glad the frame arrived. For the first few days of riding keep in mind what the boys said. Since the bushings have initial stiction the rebound may feel slow. Don't run it fast, as the bushings break in, the suspension might have too little of rebound damping causing a bit of bucking.
The frame...
Someone please update the site. I know the guys are caught up right now but please, at least the geometry of the Revolts could've been updated. Don't scare away potential customers. I think this is a must now after this nasty episode with delayed delivery of frames.
