I know Im a big noob but I'm getting fed up with my left shin getting eaten up by my pedal
I was bunnyhopping a stairset and for some god dam stupid reason my left leg just had to slip off and I got slashed all the way up my shin
i dunno about wearing shin guards when riding street but I...
Right now when I put tension on my chain, the axle is towards the end of the drop out... it's not at the very edge but kind of near it.
I was wondering if it's worth the effort of putting on a half link and slamming it into the drop outs? Would there be any noticeable difference in riding or...
You could also look for some Nylon spacers from hardware stores and cut a slit into them... as long as the inner diameter is the same as the regular spacers
this is a bit unrelated, but I have a rock shox fork and on the air psi chart, it says for riders that are 220lbs you should put 150+lbs...
Hmm the wheel wheel for me is pretty much dead center and the disc brake is on point too. I forget if my holy rollers are 2.2" or 2.4", I'll have to check
yeah I have a 2.2" in the back... it looks like a 2.4" would still fit though, just slightly tight clearance
Thanks man. Right now everything is fine but I still need a smaller lockring to really solve everything. Did you get the problem with a 12T cog and profile lockring where your chain hits the lockring because its so tall? I'm not sure where to find a smaller lockring that fits profile hubs either...
You can't run a front sprocket that's larger than 25T if you use the Profile SS and have a Blk Mrkt
Figuring out the chainline thing was such a huge pain... When I got the rear wheel and put it on, I thought I was screwed because it looked like the chainline was way off. Last weekend, I took...
It's a Profile Single Speed MTB hub. If you get that hub, your spacing abilities for the rear cog is pretty much void so you have to get lucky with your chainline. On my setup, I have to run a 25T front sprocket, and have it super close to the chainstays as well
$250 for a mob is a good...
I've been changing out most of the components on my bike recently, and this weekend I was finally able to put everything together. The wheels took almost 6 weeks of waiting before I finally got them :panic:
Either way, I took a quick picture today... so yeah.
It's not quite done, still...
$50 later and trips to 2 different bike shops solved the problem, ended up being my deity crankset wasn't manufactured 100% so the drive side arm had to be filed and a washer added. The reason being, before it wasn't flat so the sprocket was all wobbly, which made the chainline look way off...
So I got my wheels in today and I was looking at it, and now I have an even more serious problem.
The rear cog's spacing is completely off... it's too far in. I can't space the cog out either because there's not enough threads... on top of that, I can't push in my front sprocket because it's...
Black wheelset, 26"
Came off a dirt jumper but can be used for any other 26" stuff... Bearings are smooth, only a few months old. Comes with a 12T Cog on the rear and an Avid BB7 rotor attached.
32H Black spokes and silver nipples, 3X lacing. Strong and light. Tires are not included. See...
If I do it that way, and space out the Drive side to fit the bigger front sprocket, wouldn't I also have to space out the rear then?
I'm in a pretty stuck situation because I just bought a new 25T sprocket too :/ I'll probably just stay 25x12... whatever
but yeah after thinking about it you...
