Wouldn't it be so sick if Five ten were to make some dh/fr gloves using the stealth rubber? Just was wondering if anyone else thinks it would work, maybe someone knows someone and can push the idea!

Personally, I just wrap the head of my tools with shopping bags, and you could even tie them with the bag handles and stash them in a hollow tree near by.

Maybe you should just drill all around the broken bit and then knock it out and have a welder fill in the hole, grind it and start again. Did you use a little oil on your tap and set the speed on your drill down? Crap like this is so agrivatting isn't it!
Like the raw option and the rear drop out set up, but I agree about the bulkiness at the pivot, but pictures can be deceiving! I"d like to see it in action.
