There's probably more money in paintball... :)

    Evil Undead

First off: Incredible looking frame. Secondly: Anyone who immediately plunks down there hard earned cash for this thing without it being proven by the "masses" in the real world is insane. And by masses and real world I don't mean the 3-5 people on here who have hook-ups with ownership. Sorry...

    Demo 9

I had one with the 4Way and once I got it tuned up the bike was incredible. Heavy, but incredible. I'd easily still ride Whistler with it if I still had it. Check around the shock mount (the web looking part) for cracks.

    Evil Undead

I can't believe you guys are still without frames or any word about frames or any word if the company is still in business or............... Wake the f*ck up Evil.

    Evil?

No matter how amazing the Undead may or may not be would anyone on seriously want to take the chance? I'd like to know that the company I'm buying a $3500 frame from is going to be there in a year or that they can even offer a replacement for if/when it breaks.

    Evil?

Seriously, how anyone still supports this company is beyond me.

And Devinci Enters the World of Carbon DH

Dave, could you please explain the sizing of the Devinci's? There has been a lot of speculation on here about sizes posted online, in catalogs, etc. With their 2012 website up a running they have sizes that are posted larger than they were last year and seem to be identical to what the catalog...

    Talk me into/out of a TLD D3

The D2 was definitely on the sketchy end of protection but the D3 seems pretty darn solid. Certainly not a "tin can".

    Talk me into/out of a TLD D3

2 helmets a year?? WTF? Unless you crash on your head repeatedly that's ridiculous.

    Talk me into/out of a TLD D3

I've never understood why MTB'ers bitch and complain about $400 helmets but will carelessly drop $150+ on pedals, $300+ on cranks or some fork upgrade that will hardly make them any faster. For ****s sake it's your freaking brain. Buy the best fitting, quality helmet you can reasonably afford.

What's the Fuzzy edition in reference to?

    2012 Devinci Wilson

That frame is HAWT!!!!! Digging the subtle colors on the black frame. Any word if that was going to be a production frame/color? Price to stay the same? Any pics of the completes? Cheers.

So.. Aaron Gwin and the dh/mx crossover..

Don't forget that Gwin was also a ripper on a BMX as a kid as well. The combo of a strong BMX and MX backround may be the perfect base for killing it at DH.

2012 Demo vrs. Aurum vrs Wilson

Yeah you're right next time I'll make sure to post in great detail to make sure my point in well argumented to leave no stone unturned so people like you won't have to make your idiot assumptions. I forget how serious DH and the internet can be sometimes. You're the guy who lurks waiting to...

2012 Demo vrs. Aurum vrs Wilson

Holy crap dude. You're whole post makes numerous assumptions of what you thought I meant in my post. " ...dont pretend like they dont have a history of ****ups." Never did. "...New demo 8 - 2nd most popular downhill fork kills your frame, rear hub issues, shock fit issues. 09 trek...

2012 Demo vrs. Aurum vrs Wilson

I have been paying attention. Just don't forget that Norco handled that whole recall issue better than almost any other company would have. Their top tier Team DH wasn't affected (2009) the Shore series and the carry over older DH frames were. I get it. I'm not some Norco fanboy I'm just...

2012 Demo vrs. Aurum vrs Wilson

Norco has a certain stigma from certain people that they don't build quality bikes. It's a load of BS. I find it funny how other smaller bike companies still have a big following after repeated screw ups, poor customer service, and broken promises but companies like Norco get **** on by the...

2012 Demo vrs. Aurum vrs Wilson

I wouldn't worry too much about the durability of the first year of the Aurum. Norco builds bikes the right way and has the $$$ to make sure they're properly tested before releasing a new product. I'd stay away from first year bikes from the "boutique" companies though.

    devinci wilson 2011

As per Sicklines: "Sizing wise, the Large Wilson felt a bit small compared to most of the other large DH bikes on the market we’ve tried out. For 2012, the Wilson will also be available in an XL option which we were glad to hear." Wicked review though.
