This is his second year. We both have a season pass at Beech Mtn and ride every weekend. I don't have many more years before he will be faster than me! So much fun!
Bought my 10 yr old son a 2014 Kona Stinky 24 to ride downhill. The spring on the shock is a 300 x 2.0 and IMO way too much for a 70 lb rider. What spring do you think would be the best option for my 80 lb son? I was thinking a 150-200 x2.0? Who should I contact to buy a lighter rated...
Went up today and did some runs. A little sloppy but fun. The resort has done a ton of work already. They had a pretty good turnout and if it does not rain tonight the trails should be good for Sunday. Come out and support Beech MTN!!!
Look for TSB's for your truck.(Toyota Service Bulletin). There is one for the throw out bearing so look into it. If your airbag light comes on there is a TSB for the spiral cable as well. Curious if the wheel bearing you are replacing is driver side front?
All of us in the South need to push Beech into allowing an outside vendor to put on an event like this. There is still an open date I was told this am.
The Super D trail that starts in the Emerald Outback and goes to Westbowl is a long run. Lots of options for a more technical trail to be built but I believe you would have to get into a little bit of "private property".
