Hi
I have seen several park videos where the jump and the landing seem to have the same radius - and works identically in both directions
Is there a radius that works like that?
Will it work for trails?
Thanks
Rasmus
on this website, a formula is mentioned: about quarterpipe height and arc radius (2nd image)
Drawing the Arc
is it valid? or is it everything goes?
if there is a formula - or just a guide line - how long should the deck be in relation to the height and radius?
thanks

just bought the 2011 verde
radia complete yesterday for 373 english pounds
thanks for the interest though
(and by the way, the 13.5 CS is slammed and verde says that by adding chain links i could make it 14 if i wanted to)
im considering getting a bmx bike (i already have a mob/831)
i guess i want it to be equally suited to street and dirt
is the verde geometry too street to work equally well on dirt?
thanks
rasmus
ps i dont know why the image is so bad, but the numbers are clear if you click the image
or you...
Maybe it is impossible to agree on this, but Ill ask just the same:
What are the contenders for the best dirt jump bikes?
Im asking because I dont know, but I would imagine that the following would be included
26: Blk Mrkt Mob, NS Bikes Majesty, Deity Cryptkeeper, Superco Charger
24: Blk Mrkt...
I have seriously considered getting one of those hats/nets that people that handle bees wear, and use that when Im digging - and avoid standing still when Im riding
does the low speed compression setting affect the ride when the fork is "locked out"?
i have fiddled with my fork, and now i know im not qualified to do that
i unscrewed the caps on the right hand side, and upon reassembly i realized that two of the three tiny balls that hold the LPS ring and...
i've fitted an 831 onto my mob
at the moment i haven't changed the 100 psi air pressure, but i'm on full low speed compression (lsp)
the manual only says that the fork should feel right, and that frankly leaves me without a clue
how do i set it up?
do i start with no lsp and put air in it...
that certainly is the case
the reason why is that when i started building a few years ago, i really sucked at it
as i have gotten better, i rebuild what i already had
and its only now that i realize that the overall plan doesnt work
i would almost build it (no 1) just to show you my appreciation of your involvement :)
i already said im not an experienced builder
and im not a skilled rider either
so i dont think tech is the right thing
especially not after the first set in a line
(if only the quality of my bike was any...
48 (of my) feet, and maybe it will be 45 after the first jump is bigger
im not sure there is room for a small double or step down
but that would be a good idea
