Yeah the pitch is at the top of my list for trail bike frame for this year, I'd love the spitfire but gota watch the $$$.
Reason the pitch has won out over other frames is that you can get a complete for the same price as a "good" frame, its pretty stout, has great geo and it takes a 7.875"...
This is kinda crazy. Pretty much exactly the same bike/rider weight.
I have maybe 10 pounds on you (190ish).
the frame came with a 450lb spring which felt super plush but I was also dragging my pedals on the ground.
Running a 550lb was much better, but had to run a lot of preload to get the...
Duno, I enjoy working on my bike or building trail almost as much as riding, to me enjoying mtb includes everything needed to make it happen, you need a trail, you need a bike, and then you can go ride.
Nothing quite like shredding trail you dreamed up on a bike you built :)
Only one 4 wheeled vehicle has won the overall baja1000 since 1973 :thumb:
Not sure about other desert races... I guess it depends on the course... I like dirt bikes :)

If the alternator is dead and not charging then you would notice it most when driving, since thats when the most load is on the electrical system (ignition, DRL, stereo etc), the battery would die pretty quickly, esp driving at night.

(*if you go by the trend of products being released a year early to make people feel special)
wow you shovelled the trail?! we just snowshoe/drag sled loaded with wood (for spring building), that compacts the snow and makes it a super highway in the woods :)
I just saw this thread, I never knew about the HT law!!! Is this provincial legislation in BC only or is it Canada wide?
I'm asking because I was about to ride a HT, but we all know that ignorance is no excuse when it comes to legal matters so I don't want to risk it.
I'll call my lawyer...
