    iPads and Movies...

I just got my wife and kids an iPad for an upcoming trip. I'm looking for the best "service" or "app" that allows you to purchase/download/rent/whatever movies on the iPad - the catch is: - I want the movies to be available for multiple viewings (kid 1 watches movie today and kid 2 watches it...

Good MTB for breaking in to sport?

I'd also check out Konas - something like the Tanuki. I know there isn't a ton of love around here for Kona, but I've owned two of them in the past and found them to be really well build and well equipted for the price.

    Hayes Ryde

If they are squishy or lack braking force - there's a chance that air has gotten in the system. Depending on the bike and who built it up, they could have gotten air in the line if they had to shorten it to fit the bike. I'd take it to a LBS and pay them 50 bucks to bleed the brake. see if...

    Hayes Ryde

well the title of your thread explains your brake issues - my experience has been that the older hayes hydro brakes were pretty solid - but the newer ones... not so much. I had nothing but problems with my Hayes Stroker Carbons. That said... When the brakes are brand new with new pads the...

Hayes Stroker Ride sticking. Here we go again...

Not to pile on... But... My wife has Hayes Nines on her bike - they have been flawless for a good six seasons (and she's taken the bike on many Whistler trips) - the Nines are great brakes. I went through several warranty issues with Stroker Carbons until I gave up and went to Avid - now...

Bike Pron: New Santa Cruz Butcher

Mine is an L and for me (6' tall) it's perfect. I def wouldn't go any smaller - could probably do an XL, but I think i'd feel a bit stretched... Fun bike and decent price, that's for sure...

Bike Pron: New Santa Cruz Butcher

I love this thing - climbs great. My previous bike was a Kona and it bobbed all over the place when you cranked on it - this one is rock solid on climbs. The suspension feels like a lot more than 6 inches. Great all around bike. I still need to get a dropper seat post, but otherwise no...

    Fox Fork Travel Adjustments

Did you look at the Fox 32 F-Series -- this is essentially the float but it comes with less travel (80mm, 100mm and 120mm).
