I was thinking possibly that or just simple wheel changes with the rotor scrapping the inside of the carbon stay. As ham-fisted as some 'mechanics' are, I could see someone jamming the hell out of their chain stay with their rotor while they're trying to jimmy the back wheel in after a flat.
So yeah, last weekend, superbowel Sunday, I finished up riding th eConfluence and there was a helmet sitting on the gaurdrail. It was late in the day, and there was somehting else with the helmet that made me think whomever it belongs to was done and gone for the day. So, I threw it in the back...
soooo, anyone actually have time on the system?
Tubeless is good enough for me though. And heck, even when I do get a flat once a year, it's not that hard to throw in a tube and keep going.
I recently was trying to bleed a Code brake a nd I couldn't get the fluid to flow. Was driving me nuts!
At some point I flicked the lever in a bit. As soon as I did that the fluid started flowing. It was as if the lever allowed the piston to retract to a point that it was blocking the holes...
Was planning on hitting N* again soon, but I just might have to turn down Hwy. 89 first....looks too good to pass up.
Anyone know what days they're open for MTB lift access? Hours?
Yeah, I was thinking if I grabbed one from Woody I'd first take a 1/2 round bastard and file in some finger thickness grooves in it. But I just can't see the reason to replace the 10+ year old plastic ones, other than the bling factor...
BTW: This thread brought my level of respect for the RM...
Forgot to post it up on Ridemonkey until just now....but we're having a Demo Day with our IBIS's on this Saturday, 9-4. Staging at the lower parking lot for the UPPER FORESTHILL DIVIDE TRAIL on Foresthill Divide Road.
We'll have all sizes and multiple of each size so we should be able to fit...
Hey Punk-
Why not have a builder custom build you one? That way you can name your game and pay and go play with exactly what you want.
Again, I guess I'm pointing to the Ventana since not many builders have the ability to go the custom build route for their customers.
If the frames are fine with the dimples, then Yeti should just recall all the frames, dimple them in house, and send them back out. I mean, that's ok right?
sheesh
Pretty much. Ventana was building the Army and Disco front triangles many years ago....until Jan stiffed them for tens o thousands of dollars....but I digress.
And Scott and Krispy at goride were instrumental in getting this thing sorted for their racers and what they were looking for in...
Used to be big and green.....now she's all purdy blue.
Fresh powder and new pivot shaft, bearings all around on the frame, and that frame uses a lot of them! But heck, I got five years out of them.
Rebuilt wheels with flows and white spokes.
Elka 5 with a Ti spring.:D
New...
Just a heads up, I'll be up there with a handful of other guys doing turns on Sunday.
I'll be on a bright blue Cuervo. Kick dirt my way if you see me!:D
I'm so stoked, first time up this year since having back surgery for a broken L2.
Gotta remind myself to not break myself the first...
