    Brake piston maintenance

My guides had to be lubed from new. Sticky as hell. Almost like the seals were not lubed from the factory. I have used a little triflow and it seemed to free them up.

    Can You Manual ?

I practiced one fall, every day to and from work. Wheelies on the uphill a and manuals on the flat / down. After about 3 weeks I was able to start to hold them Addicted ever since. The best is manualling through consecutive roots on the trail or brake bump sections in the bike park. It's magic

    Shimano AM45 sizing

I've been running the am45 for over a year with about 200 days on them. Durability has been great. I did replace the laces after one snapped and also the foot beds deteriorated, but the shoe itself doesn't show too much wear. Size wise they are a little wide for my feet , I have to cinche the...

What trail bike tire casings don't suck?

After shredding several EXO tires last season I've had much better luck with the full DH casings. Heavy as fuck...but 0 flats. And great insulation against rim strikes from rocks as well... Intruiged by double down as I would love to shed some weight, but not at expense of durability

pike solo vs dual position air

What's the damage to convert solo air to dual position? I could possibly get sram to do it here at crankworx if they have the parts

Boxxer RC very stiff in the last part of the travel

Remove the spring and see if you can bottom the fork. If not it's most likely too much oil in the damper

    Fox Rampage Carbon reviews? Verdict?

I had a m/l d2 then changed to a large d3. At first I thought I had bought the wrong size - it was hard to even get the helmet on and then I had a headache after 20 mins or so! However after it broke in after a week or so, the fit has been perfect. Glad I didn't size up

Anyone using 9-speed Sram shifter with Shimano 10-speed derailleur?

Well I have yet to notice any skipping or rubbing in any gear. That includes under drive. Only been using it a few days but so far seems to shift as well as my 9 speed x0 did

Anyone using 9-speed Sram shifter with Shimano 10-speed derailleur?

Am I alone in having it shift perfectly across the whole cassette with no mod? X9 shifter with 11-26 and zee dh mech

Saint 820 brakes inconsistent bite point - any fixes or solutions yet?

Well now the rear brake pulls to the bar again. Waiting on my xt levers but won't have those until next week

Saint 820 brakes inconsistent bite point - any fixes or solutions yet?

So I tried bleeding the rear lever again thoroughly, and it was fine initially. However there seems to be fluid leaking from around the gold adjuster knob (master cylinder seals buggered?). I have ordered some XT M785 levers to replace the saints and will try and get them warrantied. Bit...

Saint 820 brakes inconsistent bite point - any fixes or solutions yet?

Funny that I find this thread now. I got a new set of m810s last year, and they were great last season. This year however I'm having some issues. Lost the rear the other day, just pulled to the bar right in the middle of a manual that ended up with me on my backside. After a big bleed it feels...

    Advantages/Disadvantages of a longer TT

Weighting the inside grip is a good way to wash out. You want nearly all the pressure on the outside

    Team vs WC

Team feels better and is more reliable. I have had both and wouldn't go back to air.

    Nukeproof Scalp questions

Just got mine a week ago and running it with an RC4. So far I love it. The large is quite a bit longer than my 2009 medium glory, which is exactly what I was after. Seems to be the faster you go the better it feels. Nice and quiet too. Hasn't done anything unpredictable off jumps, and seems to...

    2013 Boxxers?

Just swapped my 2011 solo air out for a coil. Definitely smoother feeling all around, particularly for small bumps.
