    Will we be able to pre-ride the stages Saturday(11/17)? I'm over 7hrs out so I'm not coming up to ride the trail system before the event.

    Any idea on a ball park milage for the even? I'm hoping no more then 15or20 miles a day but if not I'll just have to suck it up. Is it going to be a one or two day race? I think the riding between timed sages should be scheduled so that cat 3 XC boys and guys on big 6" travel bike can make...

    Trail runs along west side of the road that goes to the boat ramp. Trail starts off of Ridgeway rd just northwest of intersection with the boat ramp road. Happy trails:)

    There is a chance of T-storms Saturday and you'd have to be a complete idiot to stand on top of the biggest mountain around next to a bunch lightning rod like windmills straddling an aluminum frame. I can't wait.

    Oak Mt. this weekend

    You can see more detail of the pump track in the links in the post above my last. This pump track in new very new. Oak Mountain which was a XC only venue a year ago now has put a lot of money into a pump track and flow trail. Thats great news to me and for the future of the sport.

    Yea, I've never ridden Big Creek but it looks fun. I've only ridden the XC trails around Mulberry gap resort and Carters lake DH trail both are near Ellijay. I've seen some video from Blanket creek and it looks really fun to. I highly recommend the Windy Gap trail, Pinhoti 3 and Bear Creek...

    Oak Mt. this weekend

    I've got a campsite at Oak Mountain for the weekend. I plan to spend my time riding the new pump track, flow trail, BMX track and some of the more technical XC trails. If anybody wants to come put a tent up on my site or just come ride a day with me you are more than welcome.

    The Ellijay trip was awesome. Bear creek and the Pinhoti trails are a most for all MTBers DH to XC guys. The Winy Gap trail was on of the best Allmountain trail I have ever riden(2000ft of vert). Carter lake was in the best shape I've ever seen it even the beginner trail was super fun. The lip...
