I've done their Bend Big Fat Tour for several years. In my opinion the event has always been well organized, and a great time. Can't recommend it enough. I have even signed up for another Cog Wild trip for later this month.
I have dealt with other tour companies that come off as very...
I have done the STP in one day on a road bike. Last year, a friend of mine did it in one day on a hardtail w/ slicks. He's pretty tough, and it kicked his ass. The funniest was seeing a bunch of cops on bike patrol bikes, in uniform, complete with guns, trying to ride up the "hill" in...
Yeah, went to check out my cabin today and see what the damages may be. The bridge is gone (pictures to follow).
Looks like a couple trees took it out, not the river. The opposite side appears to have washed out though. Can only guess that a few other places of the trail have washed out as well.
There's some short ghetto trails here and there...like Puget Park down (or up) to Rustin way, and a scary bum filled trail that goes behind Stadium Way. The road routes that were described are the best bets.

Probably no ordinance on it. If it did it would be guarded. There is really nothing out of the ordinary (avionics or optics) speced on these helicopters.
I've been riding the Reign 1 since this past fall and have enjoyed the bike. It's a great trail bike that feels more XC than I had expected. Great on 4-5 hour rides, even though it's just over 30 lbs. You would never guess it had 6" of travel (in a good way).
One day, a scorpion looked around at the mountain where he lived and decided that he wanted a change. So he set out on a journey through the forests and hills. He climbed over rocks and under vines and kept going until he reached a river.
The river was wide and swift, and the scorpion stopped...
I keep a disposable camera in my camel back so I can take pictures whenever I feel inspired, but I always forget it's there. I just recently had the camera developed, and thought the contrast between the last few pictures was funny. These were taken during various rides from the last year. July...
