Early September I broke my SB100 on Capt Ahab the day before we planned to ride TWE so I rented a Ripmo from poison spider. Definitely the nicest rental I've ever had, but I also think they just got it in. If you have time to shop around there's plenty of shops to choose from that'll give you a...
Will it seal without the Cuchcore? I had a problem getting my TR forekaster to seal around the bead with a tannus armour installed. I ended up breaking the beads down, squirting sealant around the outside of them then airing it up. On the second round of doing this it sealed and has been fine since.
I thought I really liked my Xfusion sweep RL2, until the damper blew itself apart when I was dicking around on some concrete steps at the local park. Replaced it with a Pike RCT3 dual position air and can't believe the difference. Feels like I'm riding the xfusion with 2" thick carpet under me...
Yeah I've seen the thread while trying to figure out if this shock is or isn't but didn't read it too much. I didn't realize shim-based was mutually exclusive from SPV because I haven't looked into how SPV works, I assumed it was just some fancy valving with shims.
The car will be 500-600lbs...
I'm a member of my FSAE team and we're in the process of deciding what type of shock to use. Right now I'm trying to make a case for the Manitou Swinger expert:

It has the adjustments I would like to have-that...
Since the thread seems to be on a cars kick again:
My father's latest "business expense", to help advertise the body shop and now powder coating... right.
Haven't played Mad skills but I've been having fun with 2dmx. Really basic but it has realistic physics (for a 2d side scrolling game) and you can build your own tracks.
You can also download the windows version and the tracks interchange between it and android. It's a lot easier to build...
Yeah, my dad has had good luck out of his 350 which is part of the reason I went ahead and got my 250. I've done everything I could to prevent the known issues - fuel filter in the neck of the tank, covering the TPS, and never pressure washing it, my dad has no such etiquette and has been...
A quick trip to the dealer to let them remap it to the latest settings supposedly really wakes the '11 models.
As far as buying a used 350, I'd ask to see if the owner checked to see if his bike falls under the VIN's effected by a TSB where the crank or transmission bearing needs to be...
One pro rider I know for a fact is running a rekluse is Munn racing's Lance Vincent.
Personally I wouldn't recommend one to someone who's never really ridden before.. the base skill is very important in learning overall bike control. For someone who has plenty of experience and it makes them...
I'm not sure how popular the site around you, but my friends buy/sell lots of chit on www.mautofied.com The worst part about it you'll mostly get trade offers for garbage. My friend literally got asked if he would trade his CRF 450 for a horse and some pigs, so it's probably of little use but...
www.cowboom.com sometimes has some good deals on smart phones. I believe CDMA is what you want to get for verizon/sprint and GSM for t-mobile and AT&T, but someone correct me if I'm wrong as that has happened twice before.
