Moving on up
Wilkesboro is still pretty hot but does have some great XC that for the most part seems overlooked by the majority of the Charlotte riding community. Plus its a quick straight shot to this new trail system in Boone http://rockyknob.wordpress.com/ But its a ways from there to the rest of Pisgah. -

I like Hendersonville alot. I live down in the flats in Charlotte and there are lots of trails here but mostly of the flatter variety. Hendersonville has a cool small town atmosphere and is right by Asheville. Not sure about the school system though. -
